Plantain fried in coconut oil, topped with coconut butter, a sprinkle of raw cacao powder and fresh raspberries — a delicious healthy treat!

    • Since the meal lacked a starch, I whipped this treat up right after I finished eating the rest of the meal. We had enjoyed an interesting combo of wild animal protein–deer heart and squirrel–along with organic cabbage wilted in lard. I followed that by eating the whole plate of pictured plantain by myself. A suggestion for those trying to gain weight on paleo is to eat starch with fat at every meal.
